Data protection
- Backed-up and quarantined email is encrypted with a key unique to your organization. Two-step sign-in is mandatory for everyone.
- KnoxDefender staff cannot read your email by default; a time-limited, reasoned support session is required and is visible in your audit log.
Audit
- Every administrative action is recorded in a tamper-evident, append-only audit trail you can review at any time.
Where data lives
- Backups are stored outside Microsoft and Google in immutable (Object Lock) storage. The filtering gateway keeps held mail for your chosen retention (30 days by default).
