This website

When you contact us we store what you send (name, email, organization, mailbox count, message) to answer your request. We keep a one-way hash of your IP address for spam prevention instead of the address itself. We don't use advertising trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when loading them.

The KnoxDefender service

We process your organization's email on your instructions to provide backup, recovery and protection. Email content is encrypted at rest with a key specific to your organization. Our staff cannot view message content by default; support access requires your reason-recorded, time-limited approval trail.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it or delete it, by emailing privacy@knoxdefender.com. Data held in your organization's backups is controlled by your organization.

Retention

Contact requests are kept for up to 24 months. Backup data is kept for the retention period your organization chooses (1, 3 or 7 years), longer only under a legal hold your organization places.
